Nestled in a beautiful natural landscape, our small and authentic mountain village welcomes you with its unique charm. With more than 300 days of sunshine per year and mild temperatures throughout most of the year, it offers ideal conditions for rest and relaxation.

We offer two spacious guest rooms, which are rented separately.
Double room
With more than 30 m² of space, our double room is bright, spacious, and comfortable.
It features a cozy seating area….

Family room
At 65 m², our family room, for up to 4 persons, offers plenty of space for the whole family. It includes a king-size bed,…

A dedicated children's corner invites younger guests to play,…
… while comfortable seating areas provide plenty of space for everyone to relax.
Guests share a fully equipped kitchen and living area with an open fireplace, as well as an additional outdoor dining area overlooking the vineyard.
The shared guest bathroom is equipped with all necessary sanitary facilities.
A special feature is our composting toilet. This separating toilet operates without water, and all waste is composted naturally without the use of chemicals.
The resulting compost is used for growing animal feed on the farm. Thanks to a dedicated ventilation system, the toilet remains completely odor-free.

Activities Around the Farm
Cool off at one of the beautiful river beaches (Praias Fluviais), such as Penedo Furado, Ortiga, Cardigos, Lapa, Carvoeiro, and many more.
Feed the animals, observe local birdlife, and experience daily farm life by helping out around the farm.
Enjoy beautiful and varied hiking trails with stunning viewpoints, including the historic Poço das Talhas watermill, directly accessible from the farm.
Visit a museum, a butterfly house, or explore one of the region's fascinating limestone caves.
Enjoy a boat trip on the Tagus River to Almourol Castle or visit the historic Castle of Belver.
Take a day trip to nearby destinations such as Nazaré, Peniche, Tomar, Fátima, or Lisbon, all within approximately 1 to 1.5 hours' drive.

Arriving by Air
The nearest international airports are:
- Lisbon Airport (approximately 2 hours by car)
- Porto Airport (approximately 2.5 hours by car)
We strongly recommend renting a car, as public transport options in our rural area are limited.
All major international car rental companies are available at both airports.
Arriving by Car or Motorhome
Quinta Hammer can be easily reached via Portugal's motorway network. The final part of the journey takes you through the beautiful hills and traditional villages of central Portugal.
Guests travelling by motorhome are welcome to use our motorhome parking area.

Booking Terms
Booking request
Booking inquiries can be submitted via the contact form on the website without obligation. A booking is only confirmed once availability has been verified and the reservation has been explicitly accepted by QuintaHammer.
Prices
The prices communicated at the time of booking confirmation apply.
Arrival and departure
Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: until 11:00 AM
Different times may be possible upon prior agreement.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.
Up to 14 days before arrival: free cancellation.
13 to 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount.
Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total amount.
Liability
Guests are liable for any damage they cause to the property.
House rules
We kindly ask all guests to treat the accommodation, nature, and other guests with respect.
Applicable law
Portuguese law applies.
